A NEW TRANSMISSION: ONLY $2000!!
It just seems that the dollars keep on a rollin' out my pocket!

Today I had my transmission replaced.  Hooray!!  At least now I get traction in my gears when I give the car gas.  But it was not a cheap endeavor.  Not by a long shot.  But the car definitely runs better.  It appears that I get better gas mileage too.

Here is what I got:

1)  Transmission replaced.
2)  New torque converter.
3)  New transmission fluid.

All that for $2,000.  The transmission alone was $900.  The $1,100 balance was labor.  Cannot believe it.  It took approximately 5 hours to complete.  Guess I was lucky on time, since I was told initially that it would take two days.  Glad to have it done.
